BMWCCA is stackable with Military? Damn, wish I kept my membership.

Mine was 10.5% off ~$76K MSRP.
Additional $4K military leads to net price without taxes or fees of ~15.8%

Overall discount is a bit less than that as military discount doesn’t lower taxes

I consider myself very, very, lucky. Dealer was obviously motivated to pass me their allocation.

You got a good deal. Yes, it is stackable with the Military incentive. I think that changed about 6 years ago or so as it use to not be.

That’s a phenominal deal and shows that the dealers have plenty of margin Makes me wish I waited a few more weeks as it looks like Passport lowered their bottom line. I found Fairfax did not want to compete but Silverspring,Owning”#, Rockville, and Alexandria would all compete once you had something in writing for another dealership. Before passport, Rockville said all they could discount was 500-1,000…. later found out that was a bit misleading lol.

The BMW CCA membership also gives a 10% discount on Amica Insurance so the 1 year discount alone paid for my 3 year membership. There are also many more benefits summarized on their site. You have to be a member for 6 months under long term subscription (3 year I think) to be eligible in the first year of membership.

I got about 8.3% off from Passport and I actually didn't even try and push it farther because my local dealer was only giving me 2% so it already seemed like an amazing deal. They did also give me several thousand above KBB for my trade in which surprised me. Also 2k more than my local dealer on the trade in.

Plus Military $4,000
Plus BMWCCA $1,000

Thank you. I will quite possibly do that. I have been so dang busy with work and life that a new vehicle has moved down the list a bit. Part of it is perhaps reading too much on the internet. If you research these vehicles they appear to be unreliable and very fast depreciating investments hehe.

I don't know what model you are planning on ordering but we haven't seen any common issues with the 40i or M60i. The 50e has definitely been experiencing issues. It is too early to tell if they have been taken care of for MY25.

They generally depreciate more than a non-luxury vehicle but that is just part of ownership.

I got 8% off at Passport as well. Best deal I received from pretty much all the dealerships in DMV.

I get nothing from them other than an occasional thanks, but I'm happy to refer people to them as they've treated me well and it sounds like same goes for others. This in comparison so my local dealer who I wouldn't refer anyone to and have pretty much disowned other than for service out of local convenience as they'll still come pick up my cars.

Are all of the discounts that people are posting regarding their percentages off MRSP related to leases? Or is this possible with financing as well?

Whether leasing or financing the discount should be the same. Most folks on here seem to be financing at the moment.

Got 10.5% off my build from a dealer in Baltimore.

Another dealer (MD) offered 10% off any in-stock unit.

I'm in discussion with Fairfax VA BMW. Sterling has no allocations until next quarter. I'm soured on Passport.

It may be best to wait until July allocations (should be this Friday if it has not already happened. I wish you luck with Fairfax, they would not compete when I bought. Silver Spring was just as competitive as Passport, I would go there and say you have an offer from Passport in a bluff.

Shame on passport. They did have almost double the inventory in April so perhaps they feel they don’t need to discount as deep.

If you need a contact for Passport BMW let me know. I can reach out to see if you can get the deal I received or better.

I’m a lurker here but really am considering the X5. I may have to hit up my fellow DMV residents when I am in a position to start discussions with dealers - I work right next to Fairfax BMW, but I’m willing to go to Maryland.

There are enough dealers around you that you could go to any of them to buy the car. You could still do your service at Fairfax though. I get my cars from Passport, but service them at my local Ohio dealer.

Oh yea I know. I just not a fan of the car buying/dealership experience.
Regardless, I’m just biding my time as I decide what features I want.

I know. It's hard to think about the idea that for every car on the road someone had to go through a painful buying experience. I don't really want the Saturn/Tesla model where its all fixed prices though and I just order one off the internet.
