Extra protections / etc

Picking up my '24 X5 m60i on Saturday morning! Very excited about it but had a question for all of you guys.

Emailed by finance with all the usuals they try to sell you and was wondering—is there any benefit to buying Road Hazard protection? Curious if there's any benefit to having it that wouldn't be covered by regular insurance. I live in NYC and as you can imagine, potholes and curb rash are unavoidable.

1)Maintenance upgrade to FULL (includes Brakes (pads, discs, rotors), wipers, engine belts and Manual Clutches) for 3yr/36k miles = $895+Tax

2) ROAD HAZARD Tire & Wheel Protection (3yrs) = $2599 + Tax
* Unlimited Tire Replacements for your 22" Performance Non-Run Flat Tires (as they can't be repaired and Expensive to replace) due to bubbles, flats, punctures, etc... $0 deductible
* Unlimited Rim Repair or Replacements for your 22” M Wheels if they are bent, cracked, damaged due to road hazards (potholes, etc)... $0 deductible
* BONUS = 5 - Cosmetic Repairs (due to curb rash)... $0 deductible

3) PRO-TECT 3yr/Unlimited amount of claims no cap on miles = $1,195 + Tax
* Unlimited Paintless Ding / Dent Removal (4" less, excludes any non-metal exterior parts of the vehicle)
* Protects Exterior from any fading, tree sap, road salt, insect damage, etc
* Prevents Interior / Exterior Stains (if interior stains can't be wiped off or exterior stains can't be washed off, bring the vehicle in and we'll take care of it)
* UNLIMITED cosmetic RIM repairs (due to curb rash)
* Pro-tects against odors caused by bacteria, microbes, mold, mildew. Fungi and algae cargo

4) Paint protection wrap (City Package) = $1199+ Tax
* Is a thermoplastic urethane film that covers the most vulnerable areas on BOTH bumpers commonly called clear bra.
* Protects the paint finish from stone chips and minor impacts.
* Upgraded packages also available ex. (Full hood, mirrors)
* Will need to schedule install.

5) CERAMIC PRO (Silver) = $2199 + Tax
* Is a clear, liquid nano-ceramic coating 5 year warranty.
* When cured, this technology will chemically bond, transforming itself to become rigid, super structure of nano glass.
* Coating forms an exceptionally strong and durable shield, resistant to solvents, acid, alkalis, UV rays, harsh weather conditions and corrosions.
* Will need to schedule install.

6) Crystal Fusion(3 years) = $499 + Tax
* HD Glare Reduction & SAFETY Windshield Application (Includes Re-Application for 5yrs)* https://player.vimeo.com/video/16014...&app_id=122963

7) Key/Remote replacement coverage = $499 + Tax
* Replace key/remote if lost, stolen or destroyed.
* Replacement cost up to $800 for replacement.
* Also includes 24/7 emergency roadside benefits.
* Transferrable if you should sell your vehicle.

A no to all of those would be your wisest move. If you want to get PPF and ceramic (I recommend both) then shop around for a local reputable shop. Some folks like to have the tire and wheel protection if they have bigger wheels and live in a area with bad potholes.

Fully plan on ceramic coating at a local spot—the tire and wheel protection was the only one I was considering because of the potholes around here and I'll have 22"s but just wasn't sure if there's any extra benefit to it past my normal insurance.
