Non run flat tires 50e
So I had to get my drivers side rear tire fixed for a piece of metal that was picked up causing a slow leak. I have Conti 20in and they appear to be non run flat. Give no option for a spare because of the battery this doesn’t seem right. Is it just me or anyone else have Contis on a 50e?

While some shops won’t repair a RFT, if you fix it before actually running it while flat, it’s generally safe IF it’s in a repairable portion of the tread. Otherwise, most places will only replace one, not repair it.

They're all different. Bridgestone has RFT = Run Flat Tire. Michelin is ZP = Zero Pressure.

Didn’t drive on it at low pressure. Was flat when I I got back to car in parking lot. Filled it and drove to have it checked. Chunk of metal in middle of tread no where close to sidewall. Total cost to repair $27. Best possible outcome.
