As I go to work everyday around same time, today when i started the car, i see the message pop up on iDrive -- "Navigate to ......"
see the image below Is the Navigation system tracking our everyday trips and communicating with the BMW server? I think if I turn off the data updates to BMW, it'll take away the remote 3D view capability Anybody else seen this? I have Idrive 03/2019.45 on my X5 |

I received notifications yesterday before each trip. This seems to coincide with notification in the Connected App that others were commenting on (I saw the same notification in the App). 2 trips yesterday where I received the notification, it was attempting to predict where I was going next (time of day, beginning destination, etc.). I cannot 100% confirm the collection of trip info to BMW, but given this information (and the history in the App), there is more than enough reason to think this is true. I'm not sure which data privacy options will modify the App/3D ability. Are you concerned about the collection of your data, travel habits, etc.? I don't want to assume so, but it seems so. |

I could see this feature having disastrous effects if a spouse hops in and BMW wants to take them to an address that, lets say, the other spouse would never want to share with their significant other.

I've tried to disable this in iDrive. It looks like there are multiple possible ways to turn off this auto tracking and suggested routes. Despite it appearing to turn it off in settings, it doesn't.

Same here. I'm receiving same update in the morning and afternoon form work to home. I'm using Android and I'm on 03/2019.35.
Haven't figure it out how to turn it off yet. Just tried to turn of Time to leave notification in Connected app. lets see the result.

That was the solution. Just turn of "Time to leave: notification in Connected app on your phone and popup Alerts will be stops on your car as well.
