@eaglesrest just posted a coding discussion that references ComfortPlus driving mode. I don't want to off-topic his discussion, hence new thread, but ... what is that, what geographies and/or what models support that? Because my Canadian 2019 40i with M Sport-everything does not (eg manual below).

It is a drive mode in the 7-series. I don't recall any other model having it.

It's also available on the X7 apparently: https://g07.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...3&postcount=10

Coding shows its also available on the G38 with (2VM) Suspension package comfort

In theory this should work with the adaptive air suspension on the g05, but it's not clear what the differences are or if the suspension changes are within tolerance.

Some pics of the 'suggested' suspension changes. Steering changes are similar:

Some more pics - this time of the SportPlus/SportExpert mode.

Steering and Damping are the same as Sports Mode, but the engine and gear-changes sharpen up.

Some models of the 7 series, X7 and 5 series have the Comfort Plus mode.

Basically, it is the softest suspension settings - and most commented that it did make a difference in very rough road, but it also made the car very floaty.

Excellent, thank you everyone. So, not missing much, good :-). Mostly I wanted to understand this because someone else recently commented about a Comfort Individual mode which also doesn't exist on G05 X5 and I wanted to have my info straight.

Comfort Plus is “Mush mode”. I tested it in a 7 series. Think Buick/domestic car ride.

I haven't been able to get Comfort Individual enabled on the G05. The coding options are there it just doesn't work.

The f06/f12/f13 was also offered Comfort + if you have certain options.

My 2013 driving experience selections are:
  • Sport +
  • Sport
  • Comfort
  • Comfort +
  • Eco Pro

Personally I'd love to know what "Adaptive" does, in a bit more details than the one liner in the documentation!
Does it 'read the road ahead' or just start to be a bit more sporty if I start pushing the accelerator a bit more in turns?

There's an informative post here: https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sh....php?t=1280118

Not sure how valid it is for the G05 but seems reasonable.
