Ah okay makes sense. Only wanted to access the MGU for vim using the known method for evos rather than using a patch solution.

Can you please share what features can be coded and their parameters?

It depends on which solution you are using.

No, I do not have list of parameters. I use my own Launcher Cheat Codes.

I do not think INPA supports G05, but never tried.

I have not seen anything new. Most of the same that for for F15 also do on G05.

Just got my car back from dealer. I found out that my car was updated with integration level S18A-19-03-548.

Not sure what that means but can someone help me to activate CarPlay? My iDrive doesn't tell me what version of software I have.

My dealer tried to update my navigation map but somehow ended up breaking the headunit. So will have to wait for a replacement unit (part # 65128778989) from BMW AG. In the meantime, my navigation system is broken.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Almaretto, is it possible to code that the adaptive drive mode is always active instead of comfort?

Those are just software version designations.

Yes, VIM works with E-sys.

Yes. You can change default to whatever mode you desire.

VLD is Variable Light Distribution - It only works on your low beams to move your headlights and position the beams on the road depending on steering angle and vehicle speed.

HBA is High Beam Assistant - USA/Canada spec high beams that turn off in the presence of headlights or taillights of other cars and automatically turns the high beams on if no other cars are present.

Anti-Glare, Anti-Dazzle - European spec high beams that enable your car to keep the high beams on without blinding other cars.

I've been unable to code the Tailgate module using Bimmercode. Tried a few times now and this is the error message I get. I can code the other modules without any error. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Is that the Android version? Over BT? Which interface?

My experience is with iOS latest on iPhone 8 over BT and ODBLink MX+ interface. Worked fine for tailgate coding. Do have to follow Bimmercode instructions carefully — disconnect from all other BT devices on your phone before coding.

I have a UniCarSys adapter using the iOS version of the app. I'll try again with airplane mode on.

Is it possible to add Turn Signals to the HUD with ESYS?

Thinking about getting a G05 and turn signals in the HUD are a must IMO.

HUD turnsignals does not work on any car with digital instrument cluster. So, will not work on G05.
