It fit the tow fitting attachment hole very well and feel pretty solid.
It does not block the front right sensor.
Mine just arrived and I'll report back

What’s wrong with the type and location that the dealer put it?
I asked the dealer to mount my bracket when the car was there for the battery issue and this is how they mounted it.

I took that photo this morning to show my husband how nicely I backed into a space using only the cameras.
Only took three attempts to get it that close to the edge

I can confirm it does NOT work for M Sport. Our sensors are too close together. You may be able to MacGyver a retrofit for this mount, but it won’t work otherwise.

A lot of people (myself included) don't like drilling holes into the front of their bumper. I personally think front plates are pointless to have regardless not where you live. The majority of cars don't even consider the front plate mounting until everything has been designed fully. Of course there's a a way to mount them as an afterthought which is my point. Cars don't go through the window tunnel with a front plate mount meaning they don't account for the additional drag, noise etc. These are minimal things yet they bother me which is why I never keep one mounted. I had an offset mount of my X3 M40i which screwed in under the bumper and had a removable section for your plate ie I never had mine mounted. When I'd get pulled over I usually said I forgot to remount the plate after way the car. So far I haven't gotten a ticket only warnings.

Someone else posted this in another thread I believe. This may be the way to go. Who is going to be the first?

I have one waiting at home...... Will be a couple of months before I install it. Last I checked the bracket from this supplier for the M-Sport was out of stock. Difference is horizontal slats vs honeycomb.

I posted the original thread but another OP in the thread had a different solution that I though was equal or better to this option.

Man... I hope this passes... Texas house bill 673 would exempt luxury automobiles from needing a front plate. Luxury automobiles are defined in the legislation as costing greater than $60,000.

Write your reps! If it passes, it has a start date of September 1, 2019.

I bought it and had to send it back. Impossible to get it working with an Msport. Sensors are way to close. It triggers them on low speeds.

Ditto. Tried it over the last two days. I painstakingly micro adjusted and retested on numerous drives around my neighborhood. I couldn't get it to work without setting off the sensors. Hopefully someone else will develop a bracket for the M Sport.

Oh sweet. Yes please report back. Was going to pull the trigger on that since they are in stock now. My only concern, outside of sensor interference, is that the M Sport grill is plastic, and seems not particularly sturdy.

Is this the right one from Sly Brackets? The mesh grille version? I'm about to order.

So I had it installed. Braket is fine and fits in without an issue. What I have an issue is I can only hold the license plate with two screws which makes it a bit flimsy. I guess I will leave it be for the time being till something more stable comes out.

Does the plate cover a portion of the ACC sensor?

Thanks for the reply.

Is it a plastic attachment mechanism to the mesh grill? I was concerned that the grill seems a little flimsy and wondered how much stress this attaching system would place upon it.

And is the lower edge of the bracket metal where it may be in contact with the bumper?

I think for those with ACC it may interfere.
