A lot of Asian countries have all sort of guards all around their cars. It’s the way how they drive. Literally in some metropolitan areas, 2 lane is turned into 4 lanes.

I'm breaking out a wall to fit my X5 in my garage

Currently own a 4GC which fits in decently but the X5 needs some more space so tearing down a wall for it. Side wise, the parking garage entry is going to be thight but I cannot adjuts that, once inside it's good in terms of width, adjusting the length by breaking down a wall

Wow! just saw them on Amazon. That definitely makes the car look so old. Lol.
Looks like protecting a phone with a case.

I never said they’re all plastic.

Well, the door panels aren't at all plastic.

The thread you referred to had the facts wrong and so I thought the picture would explain the panel materials.

LOL I wouldn't use that link as as a reference as it is factually incorrect.

Thank you for the posting the G05 body panel material. The doors and hood are indeed aluminum for weight savings and are not magnetic.

Your post was an important PSA - "The More You Know" - in shutting down false information.

3m vinyl wrap might be something to explore. I used it black out my front side marker lights and to make an invisible bug guard for the hood.

I got the black gloss wrap, my x5 is black sapphire metallic, Once the vinyl goes on it pretty much disappears.
