2020 X5 M50i Ordered!

Hey Guys
Found someone to take over my current lease and just ordered my X5 M50i. They were able to modify a car already scheduled for production so I am hoping for delivery in 3 weeks

I was on the fence about it for a while and decided to go with that. My only concern was that the ride would be too harsh compared to regular M sport. My understanding is that in comfort mode, its identical and only stiffens up in Sport/Sport +. Is that accurate?

Can't really say yet - just picked mine up last night. Generally I think you are correct, but there is also Active Roll Stabilization, which keeps you flat in the corners.

Driving in comfort mode did not seem harsh to me so far. I also have the 22" wheels.

If you like the SUV to feel like a car, you'll love DHP. it's not stiff at all, it's actually much smoother because of the way DHP balances out all the bumps. I've driven a 2019 50i with and without DHP as well as the 2020 m50i with and without DHP. It's noticeable in a very good way, very planted, sturdy, but smooth. the 4 wheel steering makes the car feel very nimble and small. When I drove the m50i DHP in different modes I didn't notice too much change in the stiffness in any negative fashion at least, it did pick up the throttle considerably though which was fun. I ordered m m50i with DHP. DHP really shines in cornering, you still get the msport suspension for the straight road, it's just a better version suspension than the 50i because of the m-differential- someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks for your feedback, that’s exactly what I was thinking so I’m glad I went with DHP

What’s up with them getting the trims wrong. My order did not have the correct trim - so I’m going to reject it. Really bummed about it but it’s the tetragon and that is the one I like the least out of all of them! Not sure if I will reorder or just look at stock now 🤬😡

It’s day and night compared to my F15. Even with the stock 20’s it really hugs the road.

You can always just get the trim wrapped in any texture you’d like. That’s my plan. Doesn’t make sense to reject it and wait more time.

It's the aluminum dark mesh trim and doesn't look that bad once you get used to it

I think it looks pretty good. I just order my M50i with Coffee merino and fine line high gloss wood. I had a good debate with myself after seeing your picture about whether to change to the dark aluminum. Sticking with the high gloss but it was close!

Still a great choice, my only issue with anything thats gloss is the fingerprints.

Negotiated price when I ordered was $85321, after it came with wrong trim I got it down to $84321. 12.5% is off msrp
No OL code
I am a lease broker and been working with them for the past 5 years so I’m sure there’s that as well.
