Yes, I'd like the Canadian one but so far my dealer isn't cooperating so I figured I'd take what I could get to see if any options were outright dropped for 2022.

Only a Canadian one would work since the options/packages/features are different. There are a couple of threads on here concerning Canadian ordering, if I run across one I will post.

For customer order. Generally dealers can't order those options for their inventory.

Hi All,

I've been reading many threads for quite sometime now over the past five months. Finally made the decision of what car to buy (2022 BMW X5 45-e), performed the build, sent it to the dealership and still waiting on a production date. Order was placed on April 20, 2022. I called the dealership and they have no new information. I was wondering, does the production date depend how many units the dealership sells or is it random based on regions? Curious, if I should go a little out of my range and reorder from a larger dealer. As we all know, interest rates keep climbing and I'd like to lock a rate in before they get out of control...LOL.

It is best if you post this as a new thread rather than in the pricing guide. As far as your question goes, sounds like your dealer does not have an allocation so technically you do not have a vehicle ordered so no production date can be given. Allocations are very hard to come by but you. may get lucky with another dealer. Just look around and if you find a good deal and timeframe then tell the original dealer that you want to cancel. If not, then at least you are in line for an allocation.
