BMW batches their individual color builds together, and doesn't just build them all throughout the year. We ordered an individual color last year in March and it wasn't built until the last week of June (WK26).

Thanks I'm totally aware that all of those 4 week timeframes in the US are of course for standard colors and would assume that for individual colors that "US favoritism" does not apply. I was just venting a bit.

We ordered last week and immediately status 111. How long until 112? We were told it should be week 20 build so it seems it should be 112 but still shows 111. Thanks

Mine went in production on the 11th and was waiting for carrier assignment on 13th. So sat for 4 days until this AM and I saw it had been dispatched from factory. Ships truck to KC and believe you guys get rail delivery. No idea how long either takes. Mine was standard color, 4.0i.

Yes, I have heard rail too. Dealer says a month, but I have found people on the forum with real life experience to be very reliable!

I would say three to four weeks on average. If you have a production number your CA or a call to Genius can get you your scheduled production week. I think right now they are using 31.

$7,5000 should be the minimum but dome dealers try for $15k.

My CA says there isn’t one yet. Not till 112? But I saw here where people were getting week 31, like you said.

Every allocation has a build week associated with it. Just give Genius a call tomorrow and see what they say.

I think we're all looking. So far only what's been shown here. Waiting for R&T and the others to publish tests. Guessing they are already testing and writing up the results. Maybe the May and June publications and the YouTube testers.
