Sensor Problems?

My wife and I did a PCD on Tuesday with a 50e. Sensors seemed to work when we left the factory. We have noticed that the sensors do not notify us when we enter the garage or get close to an object while parking. We came from a 2016 Lexus 450h which always notified us when these conditions were present. I have checked all the settings that I know about in the apps and everything seems to be set up correctly. Anyone else have this problem?

Run through the idrive settings to make sure things are turned on for those functions you want. There’s a huge amount of tech in the vehicle, and learning to use it will take some time.

The sensors seem to work when I press the parking sensor button but don't work otherwise. I found out today that the rear cross traffic alert is not working either. Just checked all my settings and everything is set correctly. Guess I need to take it in to shop when we get home.

I am having the same issue. Recently the car warm me saying sensors are dirty, park assist function is compromised. No PDC at all. I cleaned all sensors that I can see still the same. Not sure what is wrong. My next oil change is in 2 months, so I will have them check when I bring thr car in. None of my previous cars ever give me this issue for PDC.
