X5 Fam, I need your help.

I picked up a preowned 2023 X5 M50i a few weeks ago and I love it, it’s an amazing spec (MGM, black wheels, beautiful).

That said, something really weird is happening…when I’m moving at slow speeds, there’s a ton of creaking in the cabin. It sounds like it’s coming from the paneramic roof, but it’s driving me crazy.

Same creaking noise but not that frequent, from B pillar, not the roof, assumed it was aging rubber and ignored it.

Still new…I would take to the dealer to check under warranty. Not normal in these cars… maybe something easy to fix.

The door seals on these cars LOVE to creak, and it's particularly noticeable at slow speeds/at the beginning of a trip.

I find that putting a protectant on the weather stripping helps reduce it, but creaking noises, and other rattles, are an exclusive benefit to the BMW ownership experience!
