Does anyone know if the floor shape of the boot with the third row folded down are the same as a 5 seat?

My third row will be folded down most of the time to take advantage of extra space and I would like a boot cover that fits snug.

Take this with a grain of salt since I don't have the third row, but the structure doesn't change. The wheels are still where they are, so the third seats adapt to that vs the opposite. I imagine it's the same footprint.

The shape is different and BMW does not make a matt with the third row down that fits. The difference is the seatbelt cut outs. I bought the BMW matt and had to return it as it does not fit. I bought the weather tech matt and it fits perfect, made for the 3rd row folded down.

I have the 3rd row. Also using the BMW trunk liner. It fits pretty well, IMO. There is no cutout for the 3rd rows's seatbelts, as noted already. However, the liner settles in place with usage.

The WeatherTech 7 seat option from second row is only available on the US site. I've dropped them a note to see if we might get lucky here in the UK any time soon.

Appreciate the help. Thanks.

Titan Covers

Anyone who stumbles back here in the future: I had a hellish time in the UK trying to get anything after market that fit a 7 seater with the third row down. Only off the shelf option I found was weathertech but they seem pretty unhelpful outside of the US.

I ended up (accidentally) with a titan cover. Accidentally, as they seem to sell on Amazon under a different name but cheaper. Anyway their 5 seat option fits really well. Few pics before Velcro which I'll play with over the weekend.

I’ve got the 3rd row seat, with the full size genuine BMW boot liner. It fits, sort of. Well, it’s good enough. There are no cutouts for the 3rd row seat belts, but it serves its purpose. It’s probably a 85-90% fit, I’m happy with it. I also got the rubber floor mats which are really nice. I’ll try and get a snap of the boot liner And post on here for you mate.

Here you go, plus a few of the mats as well.

It does slightly flair up top left/right but nothing to worry about. I think it looks smart

Think you've convinced me with those interior mats. They all look very smart.

I'm surprised by the fit of the boot mat. I got a cheap one off eBay which was a good fit but it absolutely honks. My garage is stinking and there's no way it's going in the car.

I know the rubber ones you’re talking about. The BMW ones only reek of quality!

I got a deal on all 3, call up BMW parts they have an offer on if you take all 3.

Funny the way you say it. My wife has a GTi, I got in it one day shortly after she got it and couldn't figure out what the bad smell was, you know, like when driving down a country road in the summer time with your windows open and you can smell a cow farm even before you see it - ugh. I asked her if she had carried anything in the back lately that might have smelled or did something spill and now its in the carpet rotting away.
Neither of us could figure it out, took a couple of weeks (well we don't drive it every day) before we realized it was the new floor mats! I took them out of the car and put them in the shed for a month, that did the trick

Speaking of Weathertech , they make a pretty good cleaner and protectant for floor mats and covers - and the only one I've found that puts a matte, non-slip finish on the rubber (avoid 303, Armor All, et al):

Thanks for posting these. Very helpful. The way folk were going on about the poor fit of the 2-row Boot mat in the 3-row car, I expected it to be bent in an ‘S’ shape! That’ll do me!

Glad you found my post, i couldn't
still a few months on its been great. only thing ive noticed is how grippy it can be, which sometimes isn't always welcome. In those instances i put a piece of cardboard over it, or simply slide it out.
It does mark up, but a quick wipe down and it comes up like new.
So much better than aftermarket, looks the part and doesn't stink to high heaven. The inner rubber mats are also fantastic, high quality and again in fitting with the high quality you'd expect from BMW and the G05!

Im happy with this purchase, No issues at all.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but my local dealer hasn't been able to source the boot liner you have pictured above. I have the 7 seat option and like you will mostly have the seats down. However, the two matts I have been given are both too small.

Are you able to get the part number for the boot liner?

Thanks in advance
