Nope, still at port and dealer still says it’s still at the vehicle processing center. They don’t see mine getting released to carrier yet. As of 30 minutes ago

It is not at a VPC, BMW refers to them as VDC also, but rather the new Accessories center.

I guess the BMW geniuses haven’t gotten the memo yet LOL, they were saying “Our records indicate your BMW is currently at the final Vehicle Processing Center (VPC)” when they emailed me, and also saying it should have been on the way to the dealer this past Friday, so bad terms and bad info lol typical

Sam mine switched to “released to carrier” eye still shows on build! I put another thread in general forum and people with week 35 got the eye, we may have just snuck in under the wire

Congrats !!! Maybe my slope back roof of the X6 is giving them issues with the rear camera.

if I don't get it, I think I'm doing without, when my dealer says, "you ordered some camera thing with it ??" and blank stare from service advisor, don't think I want them taking apart parts of the car to do the wiring, if they are even confused on what I bought...ugh

If mine doesn’t come with it, I’m not adding it either. Don’t want them messing with the car and it was just a “fun to have” thing… I’m not in a high crime area

I’m still sitting at “at the port” status, but dealer said this morning, that the work order is marked as completed. Of course, he said that doesn’t prove or disprove that the car eye’s was installed. He is up to 4 cars now sitting “at the port”, Not sure how many cars a BMW enclosed car carrier holds, but hoping they have an enough to send them up the highway soon. We have a nor’easter due in this weekend along the mid Atlantic coast, with gusts to 64 mph, so maybe it’s good a large truck doesn’t drive up soon and get toppled

They don't use enclosed carriers, they use normal open car carriers.

My bad, I saw an enclosed one driving past the dealer this week, but our BMW dealer is connected to the Mercedes dealer, buildings are actually connected, so might have been for them, as it had no markings on it. Or someone got a really really expensive car of some type that needed the covered one.

I guess it could be possible that they had an enclosed carrier but that it not the usual. Was down in Spartanburg last Friday and while heading West I past a carrier loaded with X5's. Was going to have my wife take a picture but past it too quickly. The top front was an X5 M in Isle of Man Green. Those greens can look really sharp in person. Yea, I was buying a M3 there 2 years ago and a guy from florida was on the phone trying to get it, just a example, so could have been there for private shipping pickup also from either dealer. Neither have any policies against selling to anyone from anywhere.

Very cool !!! congrats !!! I guess since my CA said the 'work order' was marked as completed, and you got it, I hopefully will also. But, I'm still 'at the port' along with a few other cars for my dealer. hopefully a full truck will be heading north shortly.

Coincidentally, my X5 arrived at my dealer yesterday and I'm planning to pick it up tomorrow.
