April Incentives

Any guesses? Betting they will get better as the 2025s roll in.

I wonder if they’ll be anything in terms of financing for the 25 model year.

I'm really hoping they add the 2.99% for the 25's as well. That would be the ticket along with some loyalty. We should know next Tuesday, April 2nd when the new incentives etc roll out.

I wouldn't think there would be any in April. Maybe if sales slide we will see an APR credit later on in the year.

I am curious as well. A lot of dealerships are trying to push me into ordering now because of the incentives lapsing April 1.

Doesn't matter if you order now. All of the current deals are for 24s. So if you order a 25 you will only get what's available after April 1st.

When you order does not matter, it is when you fill out the credit application. At that point you get a no harm lock on the rates and incentives. At this point in time incentives are not available for MY25's.

As a datapoint - I just filled out an application to lock in something in March on a MY25 X5 and was offered 5.29% for 60mo. It's better than the credit union preapproval I have. We'll see if it comes down in April (or goes up).

Was that for a MY25?

Thanks. I thought I originally saw the 5.29% for MY25's and then didn't see it mentioned anymore.

Looking at a few lot cars - 2024s.

Seems like the only real incentive right now is the 2.99 APR which isn’t a huge deal to me. Am I missing something ? Any dealer subsidies, etc to truly make a case for a 2024 vs 2025?

So far I’m only at about 7% on an instock and with the 2025s in the way, really wanted to be 10%+ off sticker.

What kind of discount were you getting off MSRP with that rate? Wondering if they are justplaying with the rate with little discount to make up for it.

5.29% is the base rate from BMW currently on a 25.

Very competitive with or better than what I am seeing at CUs.

Currently the 24s have 2.99% and loyalty. The 25s have 5.29% and loyalty amount has not been confirmed at least according to my dealer. That should come out next week since April is the official start of 25 production.

I was able to get 6.25% off on a 25. From what I've been hearing 8% would be outstanding on a 25 just due to it being new model year. Some I've talked to, dealers aren't giving much on them. So I felt like I did okay.

At this point with April coming next week you could see what plays out and if anything changes either way.

Yeah unless you go something like navy federal or similar the rates are really bad around me for all banks and credit unions. The car manufacturers are running alot of good rates on commercials I've been seeing.

May want to try a broker and see what they can find in an existing 2024 with a broader area. I got 8% off MSRP with new 2024 build. Broker fee took a bit off that.

So if I apply right now I can get 5.29% for 60 months on a 2025? I have everything lined up with my local CU for 5.99% for 72 months. They are offering 5.74% for 60 months. Will they lock me in? What if they offer 4.99% for April? Can I drop down to that?

When you complete the credit app you get a 60 day (90 day on the west coast) no harm lock on the rates and incentives (you can choose the combination of incentives/rate for any month from credit app through delivery). Keep in mind that the base rate is 5.29% but dealers can mark it up 1% so it would depend on your dealer as to what rate you are offered.

Thanks! I applied and saw the 5.29% rate for 60 months for MY 2025. Hope they have something a bit better for April incentives.

I hope that BMW will continue the 2.99% or lower in April. They have had my ordered car on the local VPC in Richmond for more than 8 days. If they don't meet the delivery deadline before April 1st, resulting in a higher APR, I am seriously thinking of canceling my order. I am hopeful that it does not come to that...
