I don't know what to think anymore. I was originally wk 39, then made a change, pushed to wk 42, status 111, couple days later 112, now back to 111.
I don't really want to keep calling the Genius, unless they are able provide any additional info, like if certain parts/packages are holding up production? My build if it helps 2023 X5 45e - Carbon Black/Tartufo Extended Merino - Anthracite-Brown Poplar Trim - M Sport w/M Sport Brakes Blue Calipers - Executive Package - Driving Assistance Pro Package - Luxury Seating Package - Parking Assistance Package - 4-zone climate control - Extended Shadowline Trim - Htd Fr Seats Armrests / S Whl - Wireless Charging |

LOL and back to 111 and a week 43 production again. Good thing I'm going on vacation for a week and I can hopefully stop checking daily on this damn build.

To oversimplify, for us it was because the Model Y is ugly / don't like Tesla. We were not at all originally in the market for an X5. I'll let others comment on 40 vs 45. We knew we had to have PHEV as non-negotiable so didn't even consider the 40. |

I was originally assigned to Week 36, then pushed back to 39, then to 40, and now I am assigned to week 44. Is this something normal? I am really disappointed now 😞.

Welcome to the forum. In these days of supply chain issues, it is normal. Just have to be as patient as possible which of course is easier said than done.

Thank you. I will just wait.... forever but I hope I do not see any more delay so I can get $7500 tax credit. After 2022, this is not eligible.

You still have some time as a buffer, of course the size of that buffer will depend on where you are located.

Another 45e delayed
Like others, I was W38, then 40, 42 then 46. Now back to order received. They are also saying it will be 3 week to get the vehicle to the dealership. If it delays further, I will be canceling my order not to risk delivery in 2023 and losing the rebate.
