Hi everyone,
Longtime carguy and forum member here...
I have owned 4 generations of X5s through the years, starting with the e53 X5 4.6is, e70 X5M (see build link below), f85 X5M and NOW this F95 X5M. It is currently sharing the garage with my wife's e93 M3 convertible.

Ok, now on to the f95 X5M...
I searched nationwide to find the right one.
Months later, I finally located and acquired this 2020 X5M as a CPO at Brahman BMW in West Palm Beach.

It is Tanzanite II over Ivory with a build date prior to locked ECUs.

Taken at Jekyll Island on our 800 mile road trip back home from Fla.
(excellent way to get fully acquainted with our new X5M):


Within a few days, the mods began:
I immediately had the side windows tinted, windshield tinted, black grilles and side vents installed, lowered on MSS height adjustable springs with 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers.
Soon after, accomplished paint correction and full ceramic coating.
I also have a RC Black series tune that I haven't installed yet?

MUCH BETTER!:







...and of course, custom spec 22" wheels were soon on order:

Lordy, love the BBS wheels and the Tanzanite Blue...just gave me ideas...perfect match. That 911 is sleek as hell.

Yeah man. I’m a fan of that color too. Haha. I stealth wrapped ours and it came out looking very cool. Tanzanite is like a subtle color that’s not flashy compared to Long Beach or Marina Bay. It’s like old money vs new money.

The ECUs sre unlocked? That’s very smart. I’d carry a pair of coveralls in case you gotta drive it with dirty clothes on with the white interior. Man, that’s gotta look good against TBii.

That Porsche was wicked fast and I made it into something really special. I probably should have kept that one. The new owner kept it going by doing a carbon roof, carbon GT2 hood and Carbon buckets to go with all the fresh Alcantera interior. Because AWD, it was actually quicker than the GT2. May not be able to buy or build another one at that level ever again...

Thank you. I will say that I do love the depth of Tanzanite, but it is just a difficult as a black car to keep looking great.... and yes,it was produced before BMW locked the ECUs. The white interior also looks amazing, but will absolutely show everything, so I had the interior detailed and ceramic treated too.

Yea, I'm a bit conflicted too...

Not enough garage space for 2 garage queens. It is an awesome truck and I love it, but the reality is that this one gets driven the least and it really should be enjoyed more. I originally bought it for my wife to daily, but she is freaked out about dealing with careless people parking next to it and other idiots on the roads. She doesn't want to drive it in the rain or in other precarious weather conditions... I'm in total agreement with her. It's too nice to deal with that.

Dang, its a great looking one, but decisions are decisions. GLWS, I doubt it will be up for sale for too long, its just a great offer and vehicle.

They are custom fully forged wheels with styling cues taken from the BBS SVs that I had on my first gen X5M. I have them up for sale in the classified section if anyone is interested..
