I have coded the volume indicator to not show up on the screen as I find it totally useless... if not disturbing.

Yeah I couldn't be bothered about it either way so I didn't do anything that was obviously available in the bimmercode app. I am asking for things that require going into expert menu and coding which are not present in the normal menu's of BimmerCode

Missing Code Options

Had the options to code doors/windows & mirrors last week on my X7 G07 using the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE OBD2. I updated the app today and now the options are gone. Prior to the update I coded a few options under those menus. Were those option removed or do I need to switch adapters?

I just got my car back from service and the software was updated to 07/2020.30.

Re-coded everything using my BimmerCode app and the MX+ OBD tool, but got an error message trying to code the BDC module. It cycled through loading up the module, but then displayed an error message before it would ordinarily open up the screen showing the coding options.

I’m assuming it’s a compatibility issue with the new software. Has anyone else run into this?

Just got mine back too except they installed 07/2020.35 and had no trouble re-coding. Maybe re-install Bimemr code? Verify your MX+ is working?

I have had the same issue. From what I can tell it does not support 07/2020.xx yet for the BDC module.

The latest beta version of Bimmercode fixes the compatibility issue with the 7/2020 software and the BDC module. It will likely be released in the coming weeks.

Interesting, I think you are the first to report that Bimmercode didn't give an error for the BDC module. I wonder if it is because you have .35.

I presume that we all are running Bimemrcode 3.6.1 (that is what is on my iPhone), no idea what the difference between .30 and .35 at this point.

What options are listed under the "BDC" module? I coded my car and didn't get any errors after update to 07/2020.31. But since I don't remember what options are under "BDC" maybe I didn't code that module.

I don't remember what they all are but the one I wanted to do was setting the default drive mode to Adaptive.

I see. I coded that option in my with no errors the day after I got the update to 07/2020.31. I'm on Bimmercode Android version 2.27.0.6795.

Perhaps there is an issue with the OBD adapter. I'm using the following adapter with an android phone and it works great. Very fast. It literally takes less than 5 minutes to code everything with this adapter.

I'm using an iPad and adapter which always worked before. The problem only occurred after upgrading to 07/2020.25. From the post above, looks like Bimmercode has tracked down the problem and is releasing a fix soon. The situation is that it reads 100% of the ECU and then issues an error saying (I'm paraphrasing) that there was a problem reading the data and coding was not possible.

Had the issue with 07.2020.30
iPhone iOS 13.6.1
Uniscan 2000 OBD
In addition to not being able to code the trunk key fob to close

Solved BDC with beta BimmerCode and was advised that the key fob trunk close is No longer supported for my OBD of choice.

Went over and got the ENet and anticipate to go Esys for headlights.

This might be an Apple issue since I have had no problems coding all of the things mentioned in this thread with my OBD adapter and android on iStep version 07/2020.31.

Highly doubt it. The iOS and Android applications are different for BImmercode and are often released at different times.

I have the 07/2020.35 as well and have had no issues to recode using BImmerCode but nevertheless the beta version supports the latest I-step level for bday module

I personally believe it's a combination of the iDrive version, BimmerCode and the OBD used as the beta BimmerCode solved the BDC issue but not the key fob trunk function. Yet the change of the OBD to ENET just solved it for me 10 min ago.

So what I see the best out of experience with UniCarScan 2000 "Bluetooth based" and ENET. Is don't was your dime on anything other than an ENET "OBD cable" Speed, stability and feedback from both the vehicle and the app are day and night difference.

Had I known this I would have save myself the headache and time of ordering this Bluetooth OBD adapter.

By the way I know someone who's selling a UniCarScan 2000 mint condition for $75 shipped.

How do you use Enet with Bimmercode?

Enet is an adapter/cable. I would imagine you just need to use an RJ45 to Lightning adapter and you are good to go.
