New X5 Owner

I previously owned a 2018 M40i and really liked it. But it was time to consider a new vehicle, and I ended up with a 24 X5 40i in Brooklyn Gray.
I'll admit it wasn't my first (or second or third) choice, but seeing it shined up changed my opinion entirely!
It's well-optioned, and I'm trying to learn all of the functions. Luckily, I'm the type that likes to read the manual!

Drive is SO much more relaxed than the old X3! Bumps in the road are just soaked up without much thud in the cabin.

So far, loving it!

Very nice spec - curious if you got the air suspension? Might be pulling the trigger on one and wondering if its worth it

I was referring to the color; I had always called it "shiny primer", mostly for young drivers. But since seeing it cleaned up, it changed my mind enough to buy.

Since then, I stripped off the vehicle's existing coating using a Griot's Garage product, then clay-bar and another wash. Then I applied 2 coats of Griot's ceramic coating (with 24 hours between applications to allow curing). After completion, it looks really awesome. I'm a fan, especially with the M package (as Joe posted above).

Great to hear how you’re caring for it! I agree with you, M Package is a must. Having the grill and window trim both in black instead of mismatched silver makes the car look much more complete. And that soft leather steering wheel is top notch. Congrats again!
