MY25 X5 Week 20 Builds

Anyone else here have a week 20 build? My order switched to 112 status so I called BMW genius. They told me that my order was accepted as-is with no modifications migrating from MY24 to MY25.

My build: https://www.bmwusa.com/build-your-ow...w9top9/summary

4/23 Order for a 40i. Just got my VIN from dealer and been showing Production Begins for a few days. F12 shows 5/12/24 build date which I assume means that Monday with it fully built the same day.

Now wondering how long to go from last assembly line status to Carrier Assignment and then to Dispatch. I've got like 2 days transit from SC to St. Louis for arrival at the dealer and now thinking that may be prior to Memorial Day weekend. Not bad...about a month wait if it holds up.

Anyone know how long they typically take to get to Northern California?

Interesting, we have not seen any Individual paints in that batch. What series/model did you order?

3-4 weeks.

I'd be interested in a brief review of your Lucid Air

Nothing too special... X5 50e in Tanzanite Blue with MSport Pro, Alcantara headliner, Executive Package, Coffee Leather.

This is not a one off individual paint order... Just one of the available options.

That makes a lot more sense with what we have been seeing. Your post said it was an Individual paint.

My Lucid Air - Brief Review - I would not be replacing it if it were a hybrid or if other external factors were better. It is an awesome car to drive, probably my favorite all things considered. The charging network in the southeast just made it too much effort to "plan" a long-distance trip. They wife got tired of spending 30 minute stops in the Walmart parking lot for an Electrify America charger. Charged from 10 to 80% in 20-30 minutes. It had absolutely nothing to do with the car itself. Exterior size same as my old BMW M5, Interior larger than my old 7-series. More storage than my wife's GLS 450. Fit and finish as good as my M5. As comfortable as my old 7-series, maybe moreso. Faster than my M5, handles about the same. Brakes not quite as good, but close. Range - realistic at 400+ miles in summer, 350 in winter. UI has made some leaps and bounds with updates, but still not there yet. They come out with updates frequently though. It is an EV designed from the ground up and it shows. Again, love the car, just don't think much of the EV environment yet.

CLTMDA Nice review and the Lucid Air is the absolute best looking EV on the road. Challenges with the charging infrastructure have put me on hold as we do take several 700–1000 mile road trips each year. Yesterday I made the 12 hour, 760 mile return from CLE to HHI in my M60i. Made it through CLT before the storms hit. I’d likely not be home yet if I had an EV.
