myBMW app and iOS 17.1

Did a firmware update to the latest iOS last night and myBMW app opens but nothing updates or works, even remote functions. Have signed out, uninstalled, reinstalled signed back in and restarted the phone and still doesn’t work. Anyone else having the same issues?

No idea if it's something to do with the app, but one thing you can try doing is "update apps and services" from the vehicle. Get in, turn on the vehicle, select and click on apps, then click on the "options" button on the center console, and select "update apps and services" on the screen. Wait for the update to complete, should only take a few seconds. Then check your app. It should update and connectivity should be restored.

if sbc-yyc suggestion doesn't work, perform a telematics reboot. i found that "Updating apps and services" doesn't always restore things but the telematic reboot often does.

Your system looks different I’m on idrive 8.5. I searched for the app update but said it was unavailable.

I'm on iOS 17.1 on my iPhone 15 Pro Max and the MyBMW app seems to work fine.

I think the issue might be with the vehicle network as I removed my BMW ID from the vehicle and went to add it back in and while it’s generating a QR code it says there is no mobile data reception at current location (my house) which I’ve never had that issue before.
