Had an original Build date of 4/17 and on last Thursday it went from Scheduled for Production back to order received. Called today and found it was pushed 3 weeks to week 19.... Stinks!

What's the F12 method. I was told my production date was a week after yours. Hoping I don't get pushed back. I just checked my status and it still says production scheduled.

F12 function will not work until production begins.

It works it is just that the prodDate won’t be filled in. You can still verify the option codes. Not too important now but during deletes it was a way to see what was removed.

Hi,
I ordered my X5 50e back at the beginning of March and I had a production week 14. I tracked this through the Genius chat

3 Apr 150 Scheduled for body shop
4 Apr 160 vehicle handover to sales
5 Apr 165 transit from South Carolina to Bremerhaven

I found out yesterday that my car is still sat on the dockside at Charleston yet I'm still being told that delivery will be week 19 (w/c 8 May). Can anyone shed any light on the status code and put me out of my misery - the wait is killing me!☺️

I ordered my new 50e beginning of February in Belgium. My dealer just gave me the good news that the car is already on its way to Europe on a boat, but he can not track on which carrier. I do have a VIN number of the car. Any way i can track the car with that?

As far as I know Europe is a lot more limited in terms of tracking a vehicle compared to the US. In Europe no one else but the dealer can retrieve any information about the status. The way people in the German X5 forum (Motortalk) usually do it is by asking the dealer when it came to port/left the port and then checking for which ships that usually ship the cars over to Europe had left around that time. It's usually possible to track down the very ship then, but I haven't done it myself, so only have limited info on that. You might want to retrieve the dates from your dealer and have a look in the Motortalk forum. There's members who could then help you determine the ship.

I believe it's on the truck or train to California, then hops on the boat to Hawaii. about a month!

I feel you, I do the same, kept checking lol. Once it enters assembly line, its pretty quick as mine is in Quality check status!

I’m curious about the actual Ev range, hoping BMW understated the 40 miles, some people claim they were getting that with the 45e, so the 50e may get around 45-50 in ideal conditions

Duke Energy is offering a $10/month rebate for charging your PHEV during off peak hours. However, there is a 3rd Party company called Itron that needs to somehow connect to your in car computer to capture charging data. Is anybody doing this? I don't like the idea of a 3rd party company connecting to my car. Thoughts???
