Would like to know too... my experience of using the door plate (in my past BMWs) pressures is premature tyre wear.
Adding some PSI seems to help. I'm running an M50d on 315/30/22 rear & 275/35/22 front. Both are non-RFT. Based in Ireland so average annual ambient temp is probably around 10C. Usually drive alone with little or no luggage. Any recommendations for similar conditions & weight?

I'll be throwing on 20" wheels and blizzaks for winter driving (first winter with this setup) any ideas on tire pressure? Will iDrive throw an error as I'm guessing the tire pressure on the 20" wheels will be different than the 22s?

I started of a year ago running the door plate psi and started getting premature sidewall wear on the contis. I upped it about 6 months ago by 5 psi from the low load figure and the wear is so much more even now. Got about 15000 miles on them now and measured them last week at 5 mm tread so still going strong. Pleased overall with them.

seems to be some difference between peoples readings:
fronts (275/35 R22) currently range between 33-34psi rears (315/30 R22) currently range between 34-36psi which seems to match the label on the car (attached below).

It's for the M50D which has 22s front and back, not the mix like the X5M.
