MSS Spring - The 4x4 days are almost over!!!

Would like to hear how long its taking to install the MSS Springs.
My car has been at the stealer-ship now for a week.

Can someone break this down simply for me? Do these spring allow you to close some of the wheel gap from stock? Do these springs change the cars ability to change the suspension feel electronically? Does this hurt the warranty? Is the ride softer or rougher than stock?

Yes, some are reporting 30mm lower before they break in a bit.

No not at all. You are just replacing the spring not the shock/damper.

In my case my SA says no. But if they were to deny remember they have to prove that the part caused the damage.

Is the ride softer or rougher than stock?
Like I said mine is not installed yet, but others are reporting a better all around ride quality.

Just got my car back from the dealership who installed the springs for me.
The car looks way better and I think the ride is a little smoother.

Out of interest, when you say "dealership", do you mean a BMW main dealer, or an independent?

And, did you have your custom steering wheel fitted by a main dealer on an independent? My main dealer that I bought the car through has refused to fit the new wheel "on saftey grounds"!

LOL! Yes obviously this suspension allows the car to sit LOWER!

I fitted the steering wheel myself.. The springs where done by the BMW dealer.

They charged me $1900 AUD / $1450USD. If it wasn't the stealer-ship then it would be half that but the the car was so new it hadn't even had its break in service.. So piece of mind.
