AutoTopNL: 2024 BMW X5M Competition 625HP | 0-100 100-200 TOP SPEED POV & SOUND

https://youtu.be/Co91DER7n08

Can tell the difference with ASD exhaust on/off within the cabin. Outside exhaust sounds muted compared to pre-LCI, probably due to EU regulations. The iDrive 8.5 M sport mode view looks awful.👎 Only positive is the rear drift probably when MDM is on and/or DSC is totally turned off.

Wow the exhaust is very different (in a bad way) compared to the US spec X5M

I love the intro! I guess that I’m too much of a wussy to slide my >100K family vehicle.

I need to level up! lol

So, his times are definitely slower than mine. I have already broken into the 11s with three passengers in the vehicle and an e25 mix. Having said that, I was expecting more, but I love my IMoG F95. To me, it is a great (family) replacement to my g80. I think it has 11.8’s in stock form with a little bit better air.

Nothing wrong with the exhaust for the intended audience. There are options for louder exhausts if one so desires. Car companies are building vehicles that appeal to a majority of people and not to specifics.

I can agree here, exhaust is ok, nothing to write home about, but you can still tell it's not your regular neighborhood diesel.

I also own a 22' Mach 1 Mustang and the X6M sounds like a V6 compared to that. But I don't think the crazy irregular firing sequence would fit a sophisticated BMW like it does the Mach 1.

That said, I still drive in sport plus all the time.

There is a ‘whistling’ noise when revs come down that I have never heard from my F95. Maybe it’s unique to the European exhaust. 🤷🏻‍♂️

And I get my car sliding/drifting in MDM all the time. Super fun and except for one time in cold tires very manageable.
