For those who self applied ceramic.. ..

For those who self applied ceramic to their X5, how much did you end up using and how much of the car did you coat? The kit I'm looking at contains 30ml which is one ounce. Doesn't seem like much or enough to do the entire X5 but what has been your experience. I'm looking at the Gtechniq - EXOv4 & Crystal Serum Light Bundle at the moment

Had the whole X5 done in Graphene, the front bumper, hood, fenders and mirror covers done in PPF. As mine is in Tanzenite Blue, after a good cleaning, it has that 'wet' look for several days, if the weather holds nice. It is quite the combo for a treatment and recommended, though not cheap.

When washing, can't recommend the Microfiber Madness Chipmunk towels enough for drying, they are quite extraordinary.

I've also had great results doing light duty washes using ONR.

Having used the same products on my wife and daughters cars I can throughly recommend them. They are just coming up to 1yr and still beading great. Having said that I plan to do an annual de-tar, de-fallout, clay and top up the EXOv4 this summer.

I only used the 30ml size each on these as they are smaller cars than X5 (Kia eNiro and Rio) but had plenty left afterwards but I'll be going for the 50ml for the my X5 when it arrives (currently 111 Wk 35 build ) bearing in mind that they recommend 2 coats of the EXOv4.
