That is correct. This year Navy Federal became a partner to offer to the BMW domestic military discount and PenFed was dropped. You can still get the discount for being a USAA member, just need to get the certificate on TrueCar.

ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS:

• Active Duty
• National Guard
• Reserves
• Veterans
• Military Retirees
• Military Spouses
• Surviving Spouses
• Immediate Military Family Members
• All USAA and NavyFed members with at least 60 days of membership
• One incentive per member per year
• All customers must present their unique Customer ID and Offer code at time of retail!

• Program Dates: January 4, 2022 through January 3, 2023
• BMW welcomes Navy Federal Credit Union as an authorized partner to offer the Domestic Military Program incentive (Navy Federal - A Special Offer from BMW for Navy Federal Members - Navy Federal)
• Customers/Centers can still utilize TrueCar Military (TrueCar - A Special Offer From BMW - TrueCar) for incentive creation throughout 2022
• Pentagon Federal Credit Union is no longer an authorized partner.

Wow, great deal. Can you specify the model so we can keep track. I think the 45e folks are going to remain clowns for a while, unfortunately.

It’s an x40i. Getting a discount on the 45e is so hard right now. I got 4% off two weeks ago but backed out of the deal because customer service at that dealership was non existent.

I can validate Henry2020. I am seeing 5-6% for X3s coming up. Henry2020 how did you manage to get 4% off on a 45e man? I am not able to get anything on 45e.

X3s have been 9% for a while. 45e is impossible to crack right now. I’ve tried so many dealers it’s crazy. The one that I got the discount from has the worst customer service in the whole country. I backed out of the deal because I couldn’t imagine dealing with them. A broker in CA told me that he could get me a discount on a new 45e order. I don’t know what’s the %. I’m assuming it’s not great but if you are interested PM me and I can share their info.

45e even in my area where lots of folks just use public transit or don't have a way of charging their 45e due to apartments/condos etc still won't be discounted. I got msrp everywhere on a 45e that I found, in a 250 mile radius from NYC, markup dealers tended to be super small or just don't get cars.

Henry2020 keep doing the great work man! Your benchmarks really help negotiate. Yes, I was able to negotiate a 8% discount for X3 (not including incentives). I have not been able to crack 45e. I really like that car. Might have to go for the MSRP

Every dealer in TX I called, Dallas, Houston, Tyler would not sell x40i to me because I do not live in TX. One did offer me a M50 at $10K over MSRP. No dealer I have spoken to from TX throughout the entire southeast, AL, FL, TN, SC, MO, MS, AR was less than MSRP. Knoxville, TN dealer had $2K "market adjustment" added to MSRP. He acted like I told him the sky was green when I said no other dealership I had contacted was adding mkt adj over MSRP.

Please don’t pay MSRP for x40. You can consider shipping if from CA. Or I have potentially another option for you. PM me if you are interested.

I can’t PM you. You need to post a couple more times before your PM gets unlocked.

$1000 off for a TX car to CA is not worth it, but thank you Henry2020.

You never know, your dealer may do a courtesy delivery for you. Maybe toss them $500 and you will still be $500 ahead.

Sorry I should have said that this specific deal was TX only. Regardless it’s not enough of a discount for an out of state buyer. I know a dealer in CA that would do about 700 off on an in stock unit. The problem is they haven’t had one for a while.
