Hey everyone, my wife’s X5 x drive 40i order indicated that she would be a week 46 build. We ordered the car last week Friday and I received an update this morning that her production date was scheduled and she received a VIN #. When I checked the production date using F12, it said her production date was 11-6. Does this seem early or is this on time with week 46 builds? Anyone else have a week 46 build? Tell me how your builds are progressing. Thanks in advance

You are week 45 not 46. Dealer probably gave you the wrong week but I guess it is possible you were moved up a week from the original schedule although that is a lot.

TurtleBoy the dealership said it was their last October allocation, so potentially that had something to do with it? Hopefully the rest of the process is faster than expected

No, nothing at all. When the allocations are issued there is a production week tied to them.

Ordered on Oct 23 ( 2024 X5 50e with premium package, paring, driving assist). Week 46 build as well.

Mine is supposed to be completed on 11/11 so I think that is also a week 45 build.

Week 46 is 11/13. Naive question: Does it mean the production will start that week OR will be done by that week?

Vimalbmw - I believe it's completion that week. I had one built 3 years ago and it was completed in the build week. Then tack on a few days for QC and travel. By the way, looks like we are both taking delivery in the same area.

Assembly takes less than a day so that is when it is expected to exit the assembly line. Once you reach the Production Begins status, about two weeks prior to your production week, then you can use the "F12" process to get your production date. Production Begins does not mean that assembly has started but rather that a VIN has been assigned and parts ordered/allocated.

Another week 46 build here, Xdrive40i. Ordered on 10/06 and my dealer had a few allocations at the time, I think at the time they had just received their November allocations.

I debated way too hard about the driving assistance professional package but finally caved and added it this week. This will be my wife's car and the car we will use for family trips so I figured it would be useful to have despite my attempts to keep the purchase price as low as possible.

Nice!! Yup just now noticed your location. I ordered it from Rockville MD dealership. They gave a better deal than others in this area. But he is adding 1% to BMWFS interest rate.

You can find better financing elsewhere assuming good credit. Local CU, NFCU, PenFed, your bank, etc. it’s easy to join NFCU or PenFed.

I got a 7% off on MSRP for a 2024 BMW X5 50e from one of the Maryland dealer. (wihtout any loyalty or other incentives) But he also added 1% to my interest rate. (5.29 to 6.29)

I just confirmed my order today of a X5 50e with M Sport, Brooklyn Gray, and Silverstone. I was surprised to be assigned a week 46 build with a November allocation.

I have been reading the forum over the past few weeks and found it very helpful thanks to all! Here is hoping the car is delivered before Christmas!
