Does anyone know if allocations have started trickling in for the X6 M60s. A dealership in MD, said an X6 order was filled yesterday.

Also, how true is it that bmw is only filling x6 M60 orders that have been put in the order bank, i.e., marked as customer sold, and are not releasing additional allocations to dealers? Any info?

Have not seen that they were issued but could have been. It would make sense if they are only doing it for orders in the order bank although I have not heard of them doing that. It would cut down on year-end inventory at dealers.

that's not how allocations work. The only way it works that way is for the Alpinas.

I currently see only 8 X6 M60s in 111 or 112 in the entire US. You're likely going to have to settle for a MY25 (next month for April production)

How does that compare to X5 M60 allocations?
I assume that X6M’s are even less than 8 in either status 111 or 112.
What has happened to V8 production?

Weirdly, there are 33 X6 Ms in 111/112

I received today, after a 9-week wait, a confirmation from my broker that my order got bumped from status 047 to 111

I’m actually considering to go buy that champagne bottle after all. It’ll be pretty chilled on delivery day, assuming it happens as per broker’s guidance “sometime between May and July” 😅(for a November order, mind you)

Are these customer sold? Or you cannot tell. I’m trying to secure an allocation.

All dealers get the allocations at the same time. He is referring to the different groups of allocations (Germany, Spartanburg, etc.) rolling out.

An order bank order does not guarantee an allocation. Other factors play into how a dealer gets one.

And there are currently 7 in the US. That's it.

The only way to guarantee an allocation through the order bank is ordering an Alpina XB7 or Alpina B8

I know order banks don’t guarantee allocations. I also know allocations are given to dealers.

You can rely on what calbears tells you. He is someone that works with this stuff every day and knows what he is talking about.

Keep in mind that it is the end of the year and production space is very limited given the movement of many 50e's to March. Relatively few X6 M60i's are sold in general so it is not surprising at the low number of allocations for March.

When you build a car on the configurator and it shows you local matches, how do you know what dealer has that match?

When I click on the closest to my build and ask for a quote, it just says my nearest bmw center, not the actual dealer that has that car
