I don't have air suspension. My G05 comes with the 22 inch and they are surprisingly NOT run flat tires. That's why they give you a compressor and tire sealant.

I find run flat tires harsh compared to non run flat. And with the larger 22s with even less sidewall cushion I'm glad they are not RFT.

What tires did you get? The Contis or the Pirellis? I'm praying for the Contis for the higher wear rating.

The sidewalls in the g05 22 looks similar to the sidewalls on my current f15 21 oems. I found the ride a bit harsh on f15 21 rfts so went with 21s in g05.

Test drove the first 40i M Sport my dealer got in. We currently have a X3 M40i which my wife is not in love with. A couple of observations, first off it is huge step up compared to the X3. From the F15 to the X3, we preferred the X3 but there is now very good separation between the two. The one we drove was fairly loaded with 22's and most of the available options. Ride was really good with the larger wheels (we have 21's on the X3), new dash was great and there is significantly more interior volume. Motor felt strong, but after having the X3 I might be more interested in the 50i. We will be getting one, just need to finalize motor choice and work through some additional numbers. Will see if I can get some of the pics my wife took of them side by side.

The Conti's treadwear is 280 and have a bulging sidewall with now rim protector

The pirelli's Treadwear is 320 and have a flat sidewall with rim protector

FYI, got the front side windows tinted yesterday. Did 15% and it’s a near perfect match to the rears. Looks amazing! There is a slight color difference when looking out from the inside, but it is minor to say the least.

The factory privacy glass is quite dark! We will put some film on all the other windows to help with heat come spring time. Don’t need it now that it’s cooler.

Hopefully once all this smoke goes away,and I can clean the X5, I’ll get some pictures posted.

Thanks! Geez... 15%! That's a dark tint. Not even legal in some states, for front windows.

You planning on getting a non-US car? Maybe your profile location is off, but in the US the M Sport exhaust is not available on the 40i.

I just leased a 2019 X5 but the dealership said they couldn't release the vehicle due to a recall (financing already done and signed) - said it would be a week max - part coming in from AZ or Germany (this was end of day on Friday)... anyone else have this happen and can they share what part it was that is the issue?

The 15% matches the factory tint almost perfectly. I like it to be uniform. My ZL1 has 15% all around as well, looks awesome. Doesn't hinder visibility even at night for me.

Correct. You can't tint the front windows at all in CA (unless you have a medical permit to do so). But I've been tinting our windows on every car for 20+ years in CA and never once had an issue. I've even been pulled over (not recently) for speeding and they never mentioned it. There are so many cars in the hotter areas of CA that have all their windows tinted, I think cops just let it slide for the most part.

Same goes for the front plate...required in CA, but I have never ONCE put a front plate on the car. Never had an issue.

Just saying the command works. To the best of my knowledge, the full functionality won't be released until March '19 though.
