It's pretty easy to appreciate how far Hyundai has come from what they built. It's not stepping on BMW's toes but having a new player enter the field. In fact competition is good for the consumers. Full disclosure I do have a X45E, fully optioned out and I love it. But I did go look at the Genesis GV 80 and GV70 and they were actually pretty nice cars. In fact I would recommend them to somebody who wants something different if they didn't have the crazy dealer markups on them. |

I believe the GV60 goes from 0-60 in 3.7 seconds. Not slow by any means. Looks is subjective. Bentley designers created the GV80.
For a small country about the size of the state of Indiana, their rise in the automotive space is respectable. |

Right? lol. If all we cared about was straight lines, why buy anything but a Tesla or an EV!

Anyway, it wasn't about the drag race. It was about the outcome of performance vs lack thereof. I wanted the total package. |

What I see is an elaborate affectation. I seem to see a flower boy with a soft appearance smiling at me behind the wheel. Quote:
P.S.: I am not a big fan of BMW, people can tell it from my early posts. But this? No Way!

The GV80 gets great reviews and I cross shopped for it. It definitely has a Bentley look and the interior luxury feel is superb. After selecting options and everything though, it's not really any cheaper. I wanted a third row and was able to get a CPO X5 for significantly less plus I prefer the X5 exterior styling and handling. And interior functionality to me is more intuitive. Still, others may find the GV80 better for their needs and it's certainly not crazy to choose one over the other depending on what's important to you. Gas mileage on X5 was also better on the models I was looking at. There's a reason GV80s are in short supply though. It's a popular vehicle.
