Thumbs up Lamborghini Revuelto Has A 2 Year Wait List, Urus Sold Out Until 2026

My forever Dream Machine and brand is obviously doing something right...
Numbers and demand don't lie.

Quote:
Lamborghini sales are up and order books are full for months, if not years, in advance!
Lamborghini is having a stellar year, which has been fueled by strong demand for their updated lineup.
There’s now a waiting list of over two years for the Revuelto, while the Urus SE is already sold out for 2025.
Boosted by increased sales and personalization options, the brand’s operating profit rose nearly 10% this year.
On the financial side of things, Lamborghini delivered 2,853 vehicles in the third quarter and that was an 18.7% increase from this time last year. Through the first nine months of the year, deliveries are up 8.6% to 8,411 units and the Urus accounts for more than half that number.

This spike in sales, combined with the endless appetite for customization options, has done wonders for Lamborghini’s revenue, which shot up 20.1% to €2.43 billion ($2.61 billion) through September. This, in turn, has pushed their operating profit up by a respectable 9.8% to €678 million ($729 million). A healthy bottom line, no doubt, though one wonders how sustainable it all is when even the best-selling models are trapped in production purgatory.

Not surprised. Globally, the wealthy have prospered since COVID. Money has been injected into stock markets artificially creating vast wealthy for people heavily invested. So all the exotic brands are flush with more orders than they know what to do with.

The story is the same at Porsche and Ferrari too. People flush with cash waiting eagerly to buy a flashy car.

Agreed and very true statements.

Yes and it’s weird. Low inventory on 9Y0 S and higher trim.

My local dealer has 7 911s in stock. They have 47 Macans and 17 Macan EVs. I think many of these are in transit. They have a smattering of other stuff like Cayennes and Panameras and 718s too.

My take away is they're struggling to move the mundane cars

Also those Macan EVs, they're mainly Macan EV 4.... At $100k. For a small EV crossover. I think those are likely to flop HARD.

You're in Toronto as well, so what I'm seeing is the very least desirable models/specs sitting. Sure, different from zero inventory like before, but also the fact that you still can't get a base 911 (new 992.1) for less than $175-180k CAD is a huge problem. No wonder they're sitting. Used prices are still insanely strong which is driving me nuts.

I usually see a GT car in Porsche showrooms. I ask, and the cars I have seen have all been sold.

As mentioned, base Macans and other less-desirables are available.

Agree. We are also seeing here in Canada a LOT of lightly used 992 or new in stock 992 but prices remain pretty firm, but the cars are not moving.

All the current Lamborghinis are fantastic. Local dealer has an orange Revuelto and I was able to walk around it for bit. Just bonkers.

This article is for sure spin. All my dealer buddies told me the take rate on the hybrid urus is abysmal in comparison to the perf and previous model Urus. I took this as "yeah they finally sold out the production for my 2025" but it took them until basically now to do it.

Trying to get an allocation for a perf was very difficult.

I assume people who are buying new Lambos are doing so because they can't find a Diablo., or they're eunuchs who can't drive stick and can't handle an actual beast of a car.

Maybe one built to spec? You can buy a new Urus at like every dealership in Miami or get dibs on one entering the ports within a month.
