Taking apart HRE three piece rim
Hey all,
I have HRE 547R rims. I accidently scratch one of my rim over the wekend. I was thinking of powdercoating the rim instead of repainting it. Most powder coat places I called will only powder coat the entire rim including the polished lips. I just want the face painted. Can I just remove all the rivets on my rim to take off the face? Can I do this with the tire mounted and air in my wheel? Thanks.

Is that a 2pc or 3pc wheel? I would recommend removing the tire before you take apart the wheel.
