E92 CF mirror covers!
Our CF mirror covers are all finished and ready to go!
Our manufacturer uses the OEM front mirror pieces and wraps them in Carbon Fiber, for an absolutely perfect fit. The front of the mirror is beautiful weave CF, but the rear is an OEM BMW piece, complete with BMW logos, and OEM mounting tabs. The fit is perfect, and the mirror won't come loose or fall off. The first group buy will have eight sets available, and each set will cost $495. Please PM me for more details.

OEM Carbon Fiber pieces tend to be cheaper due to the manufacturer's ease of access to the material, and their ability to mass produce the units.
These mirrors are a one-off custom piece, and are therefore much more involving with regard to the manufacturing process. The OEM mirror cover itself is fairly inexpensive, but after purchasing the cover, the primer has to be completely stripped off, the cover must be sanded smooth and cleaned, then the carbon needs to be laid up (very carefully with no misweaves). Once it's laid, the cover needs to be baked, and the excess resin vacuumed out. This is all a very time consuming process, and, coupled with the low production volume, leads to a higher price. The end result, combined with the fact that this is a unique, rare piece that few other people will have, makes the cost well worth it!
