I'm trying to decide between the dashboard wood trims, if anyone has pictures of:

Brown-Metallic Ash Grain Wood

and/or

Anthracite-Brown Poplar Matte Finish Wood

Sad sight when picking up my 540i from the service dept. I believe it was a loaner as it had temporary plates.

I have the anthracite poplar matte trim and I think it goes well with the leather color. Here are some more photos.

What's the consensus around here on badging? Having trouble making up my mind but leaning towards taking off the M, or maybe just leaving the X5.

I absolutely love the look and the feel of natural wood and matte finish. Personally, I'm happy not to have a shiny or metallic trim. The poplar is gorgeous and I like the character that the natural variation in the wood adds to the interior. Is the natural variation/knots/etc in the wood what you mean by unique?
