Some BMW dealers post them on their webpage. honestly I just Googled what the codes meant and I found one of the sites that had it. I just happened to have it up for my own knowledge when you initially asked the question.

More than worth it. I did it last year and want another Bimmer to do it again. After the track stuff, go for a ride with Clint in the M car. Most opted out, but it was so much fun. Don't forget to push the cars they let you use to the limit or beyond. I thought I was in trouble for sliding out into the field, but just got a chuckle and "inertia does take over at some point"

The vehicle is painted prior to assembly and it will be delivered right after just like any other build. We have been seeing delays about 3 months or so for Individual colors but that is variable.

Welp. I called BMW Genie and they told me the car is scheduled for production on Week 31 . Have you guys ever heard of anything like that?

He also said something strange. He said "Contact your dealership to find out why there is such a delay."

Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hhhmmm, to me seems normal, but thinking about it more I was WK26, so WK31 is 5 weeks later (think the last week of July). I wouldn't necessarily say it is a delay, as my CA told me it could add anywhere from 10-12 additional weeks to the build time for doing an individual color. Yours will still be a MY24 though.

There was another person that did Atlantis Blue, and was built same day as mine, but they actually ordered EARLIER than me (think Jan), so their wait was even longer.

Told you the wait is going to be brutal.

As arRod1981 mentioned, that seems pretty normal. Keep in mind that may be adjusted and they get other orders so it could end up being sooner.

Ordered my 50e on 03/01 (1st of March) with individual paint and expect build week 24. (In Europe you can't track this yourself like in the US so have to rely on the word of my dealer.)

But then again US seems to be favored heavily when it comes to production slots. If you order a 50e in standard colors in Germany right now you are looking at production in early '24 while others on here ordered mid-March to pick up their car in early April. So there seems to be at least half a year of a difference.

If I remember correct there's a guy from Belgium around here who ordered his '24 50e in December '22 (You could do that in Belgium) with individual paint and is expecting a delivery in August, so production in July.

Out of curiosity, what is the earliest date that people were able to order in the US? I noticed that the 2024 X5 Configuration was available on European sites waaaaaay earlier than the bmwusa.

Just FYI the earliest orders I'm aware of in Germany/Switzerland are the first days of Feb. Only in Belgium you were able to order at the end of '22 already due to a regulatory change in '23 that I think was based on the date of the order.

Just so you're aware, people in the US that ordered an individual color are not receiving their builds within a month or two timeframe like someone who ordered a standard color. There is member in the US who also ordered an individual color, and has a build of WK31 (July).

BMW batches their individual color builds together, and doesn't just build them all throughout the year. We ordered an individual color last year in March and it wasn't built until the last week of June (WK26).

What is the earliest order that you have heard of on this forum?

I am no longer convinced it would have changed my timing, due to Individual Color, but I only placed my order on 3/28. Despite the fact that I told my dealer that I wanted to be one of the first ones out of the gate, at least on paper.

There were some folks that got in their dealer’s waiting list last Spring. The order banks opened around Feb 11th. Allocations were issued the last week of Feb. When you order doesn’t really matter, when it is built depends on having an allocation available for that order and what production week is tied to that allocation.

As you said, given you are getting an Individual paint when you ordered really didn’t effect when it is scheduled to be built.

I ordered but didn't get an allocation till the 2nd round. I ordered an individual color (midnight sapphire). I called genius and was told week 31 as well but was also told I would get the updated head unit!
