For those of you with 50e still on order, you may want to check your status.

Not sure what happened and why I would flip from 111 to 105.

My mid-December order with a week 2 build pushed to week 10 to no date now. Frustrating as Genius couldn't tell me what has happened. Left VM with my dealer to see if they have an update.

I'm generally patient but now anxious as to what is happening. What is going on with 50e production?

It’s probably pushed out now to the new MY25 Start of April.

We are going to have to wait until we get a lot more data but perhaps this time they actually did halt production of the 50e.

I had a week 11 production date on December 29. Now I don't have one. My 111 production code is also now 105.

Just checked my order and it too has been moved from 111 to 105. Original order on Dec 15 with a Week 6 production date that had been moved to Week 8 and then Week 12 over the last few weeks. Will hold off on calling Genius line for a few more days.

Same here, I used to be week 2, then week 11 and now BMW genius doesn't have a date.

I could tell something was wrong when I checked the website and it asked to re-enter my production number.

Sorry to hear this. It reminds all too well of 2 years ago when my G80 was delayed multiple times presumably with COVID related supply chain issues.

The good news is that they are probably addressing the issues with the 50e, so perhaps that will be resolved when the cars finally do come.

And for sure - I would insist on the 24MY price if you end up with a more expensive 2025. I got my '23 at the 22MY price after waiting 8 months for it (prod # 12/21 --> delivery 8/22). And it was BMWNA that made that happen. The dealers were not helpful for the most part.

For me my order has also reverted to 105 status with no update from the dealer... I hope it is just a switch to MY25 but the image shown on the tracker now is just a base model

12/26 - Ordered (Msport/Dravit/Tartufo/loaded)
12/30 - Status 112 for build week 2
01/10 - Genius confirmed build push to week 10
01/19 - Dealer notified me build push to "mid to end of march" no week given but could be week 11 or week 12
02/01 - Status changed to 105... I've been checking daily so it just changed today.

Yes. BMW had raised the price significantly since I had ordered (inflation). I spoke to a guy at Genius who was sympathetic, and he referred it on. A week or so later I heard from them there would be some accommodation. Then a couple of weeks after that BMWNA issued a bulletin.

Where do you find the production status switching from 111 to 105? I have a production code (week 12 allocation) but the only thing I notice that’s different on BMW USA is that in my garage the X5 now looks like a standard build.

Thanks for the info. I found it. I was given a week 12 allocation and the current status code is 105. I’ll call the geniuses tomorrow but I’m assuming based upon others - my order will be delayed.

Bit of an update. BMWs system sounds like it’s messed up right now. I just spoke to a genius who asked me to call back Monday because they were seeing my order in 105 status with a delivery date of week 2 😂

Assuming you have a 50e, you won't see any difference. From the data we currently have, they have halted production of the 50e's and all current orders will be moved to MY25. Still looking for any outliers to that.

I checked my status this morning after reading about status going to 105. Mine went to 112 overnight for my 50e. I’ll have to check again Monday to see if the BMW system is really messed up. BMW needs to notify dealers if production has stopped on 50e and all builds moving to MY25.

If you have a chance, can you do the "F12" process (or post/send me you production number) and see what the status code is in the data? Thanks
