Thank you calbears! Being that this is now released, when do you think dealers might start having allocations? X5 50e.

April production allocations are out. That said, I see only 3 non-priority 1 25 X5 50es available

Looks like Marina Bay Blue and Frozen Pure Grey became available without going through BMW Individual. New Climate Comfort Package combines few things that were previously a-la-carte. Not seeing much else that's different.

I would imagine they are using the production slots to take care of the ones that went to 105. Or do you see that they are still very limited?

Neither of those were Individual before.

Out of curiosity, I called a local dealer. They didn't even have pricing or ordering guides yet for 25's. Of course, no allocations either but said she should have by April....still trying to fill the MY24 orders.

Well, you didn't talk to the right person. The pricing & ordering guides are in CenterNet. If they don't know how to get there, you're not talking to the right person.

Allocations were just released, they of course, may not have any. Next round for May production will be in late March

they have to fill all the 105s, so that's probably the limiting factor. That hasn't happened yet, but maybe within the next few days we'll have a better idea.

Thanks, been waiting since December and hoping my 105 status gets an allocation soon.

So what's up with the "2VR cannot be ordered with ZMP" note?

I just switched my x50e order to an M60i, and selected both the M Sport Professional package as well as the 2 axle air suspension.

I'm assuming this note means that my configuration won't be valid for 2025?

Can someone please briefly explain the concept of allocations? And how are they significant in the context of factory ordering? TIA

no allocation = no car. An allocation is a production slot, so if you order and don't get a production number, you don't have a vehicle.

For the G05 you were never able to combine Air suspension with DHP (Adaptive M Professional).

So comparing this with my order sheet for 2024 50e (delayed to 2025), prices have gone up on this. Base price is up and some packages like climate and drivers assistance are up. Ultimately will have to check on the updated configurator.

Anyone have any recommendations if the dealer refuses to honor the original '24 price? Just a hypothetical scenario.

Since BMW is giving price protection I would argue that they are making the same amount of money that they were on the MY24. I doubt we will see many instances of dealers trying to change the price on the deals that were agreed to. Let us know how it goes.

The current configurator on the website let's me do it.

I have the 2-axle air suspension for $1k, and the M Sport Professional Package for $650 on my build.

Maybe it's a labelling thing.

I think technically that makes it option ZMQ since it's an M60, whereas the same named option on the 50e is ZMP?

If it does then it was a bug recently introduced on the website. Those two are mutually exclusive. Are you maybe referring to the M Sport Professional package and not the Adaptive M Professional suspension?

Edit: Looking back at your OP it looks like I misunderstood what you were asking. I thought you were talking about AS and DHP like I mentioned. The note you are talking about is only applicable to the 40i's.

Awesome. Thanks for sharing this. I already contacted my dealer to inquire if they have moved on my order.

Also - Probably asked before but is the reason M sport exhaust is not available as part of the professional package on 50e due to battery, space, etc?
