"Just in Time for Father's Day"
I picked up my 2020 X5M Comp, Mineral White with Red interior today just in time for Father's Day. I will have her in shop next week getting the full XPEL Ultimate wrap done. My last X5M had some rock chips and the sides were pretty bad from dirt and grime from the road. I got the full wrap my F90 M5 and I don't regret it. Cost alot, but for peace of mind I'm happy.

Congrats on the X5MC, and very nice pair of machines in your garage. Enjoy every mile in both of them!

Congrats!
Curious to hear your thoughts and experiences between the two. Now that I'm a family man, with a dog- my beloved M4 wont cut it. It is a BLAST to drive, paid off, and in mint condition, I just get so damn annoyed driving it around everyday. I need a bigger car, it doesn't make a difference if it is a sedan or SUV, but these are my two choices.. pros/cons for both? Regrets? suggestions? (ps- i live in fort lauderdale, ZERO off road, or mountains)

Pros & Cons
I like them both.
If you want quick response and agility coming from a M4 I would suggest the M5. If you like the feel of driving high/safe from cars below and speed then the X5M Comp. I love them both. The CC brakes on M5 are very touchy after driving the X5M. This F95 X5M is a lot bigger than the F85 X5M, took some time to get use to. Which ever you choose you can't lose. This is why I have both. Depends on what mood I'm in, determine what car I drive. Quote:

With that said the X5M is a lot bigger and yes even compared to previous gen X5's. In terms of driving dynamics its as close to a M3/M4 as you can get in a suv of this size. It rides firm but it also takes turns like you wouldn't believe. Its as if the laws of physics doesn't apply to this thing

I've loved the F90 and have had my eyes on that for the next car for some time now- but find myself skeptical about it only being a massive difference in tech and power and not so much space, ease of moving and loading, and overall daily driver comfort and convenience. The M5 has 2 reasons in its favor- first, its a serious car, and sedan (obviously) so we have a dinner car or something to be "formal" with. And the second is that my wife wants (for some stupid reason) a Range Rover. So 2 SUV's makes me think. Thanks for your feedback! Congrats and drive it in good health
