Sorry, should’ve been more clear.
Based on the part#, M50i doesn’t share stock air intake assembly as G05/G06/G07 M60i, F95/F96 Pre-LCI and LCI, and G09 XM.
While G05/G06/G07 M60i, F95/F96 Pre-LCI and LCI, and G09 XM share air intake assembly, except Chargecooler coolant reservoir location is different.
F95/F96 Pre-LCI reservoir is on top of the engine, while the LCI and rest of S68 is on the front passenger side (LHD) corner behind the headlight.

Thats a good call. I know my car always has dry leaves stuck in that area and I always have to clean it out during my car washes.

I believe there is an opening on the bottom to allow excess water to run off while standing still under the rain.
But, while driving, it shouldn’t get inside the intake.
Let me check on it again later.
I know that I won’t have a problem, Dry California.

Ok, water won’t be an issue, because there is diffuser to keep water running to the side, instead of running down to the cowel.
