I just picked up my car today and it was updated to 07/2019.55.

I drove home in the rain and it said driver assistance was reduced (frontal collision).

Why would there be a Pre-ventilate now prompt on the goodbye screen? Is there a way to change that?

Getting a reduced driver assistance in the rain is normal so unless that continues you should be fine.

I turned my Pre-ventilate message off but don't remember for sure where I did it. I believe I ran across it under Notifications when I was going in to turn off the Valet Parking message. Just hit the controller up and scroll to Notifications and check it out. Good luck.

Edit: Just for clarification, when saying it is normal to get a message in rain I'm referring to heavy downpours and not every time it rains. You shouldn't have to worry about it but snow can cause the same thing.

Curious if you know this means under Sirius time shift. I had prev asked on the boards if when selecting Sirius/XM channels do the songs start from the beginning like I've exp on my wifey Honda Ody. when I select a new S/XM channel the song starts from beginning. I was fooling around with vids on the S/XM app and see a setting to force songs play from beginning. I am not seeing this yet. I saw this setting under time shift...any idea what this setting does?

I was fooling around with that option a few weeks and couldn't figure out what the purpose was and it screwed up the arrows on the steering wheel. Instead of going to the next channel, the arrows skipped forward and back in the current song. When I got home I checked the manual and decided I didn't need it.

As far as starting from the beginning, there are Smart Favorites which will do that. I have not tried them so don't know how well they work and if they work when the channel is chosen as a preset.

Same here. When you see it, press the iDrive controller to the right and navigate to/click the setup icon. Scroll down and disable (uncheck) the pre-ventilate box.

Update: I was finally able to test the smart favorites and they work perfectly when using the presets. I set each of my Sirius/XM channels that I have in my preset to be a Smart Favorite and now each time I go to one in my presets it starts the current song from the beginning.

I can also confirm that the Smart Favorites will start the song from the beginning on all of the selected channels. Also, you can rewind to the beginning of the previous tracks for up to an hour.
