FYI, you won’t need pillows on the front head rest of your new G05, they are awesome. Last edited by MystroX5; 01-29-2020 at 10:51 PM.. |

Unlike some folks here on this forum that drives this vehicle as a sports car, imo, this is family vehicle. Everyone I know (who are not on this forum) purchased the X5 utilizes the backseats 90% of the time. Back to the topic, I think my wife and mom would of loved these pillows on our last few road trips! Well worth the price if your able to afford them and/or actually utilize them, plus the look great!! |

I'm definitely not saying that we shouldnt have all this stuff... but the pillow thing I cant wrap my head around especially if you have small kids who are in carseats anyway. |

This thread is about accessorizing, not practicality. It's unfortunate that it's hard to get the humour in one's head across a text thread without use of emojis :-).

eh im just salty because they dont make pillows for the front seat. I will never sit in the backseat of my own car nor do I care about the comfort of my passengers, i'm not an uber driver. my issue is that after 3 years of owning the f15, I noticed a discoloration on the back of my front seat headrest. It came off very easily with lexol but i'm now forever paranoid about resting my head on it. So I want a front seat pillow, for which an oem option doesnt exist.

Are those the same as the ones in the X7?

Same ones for standard bench seating with 3rd row.
Captain's chairs on the X7 have a different attachment design due to the comfort headrest.

Ordered the black set, but the strap material is not alacantra type, only the front portion is. Part number is 52-20-9-476-469

Got mine as part of one of the packages with purchase of our X5 and still in the BMW goody bag. I may be tempted to put them on now.

I'd consider it, but $350 gives me pause. Mainly it's cuz it's for my kids. Ok, mainly it's cuz my daughter is filthy and I worry she'll turn a $175 pillow nasty somehow. It's pricey, but not completely out of line. It is venturing into Porsche pricing though. Still, when you look at what they charge for those comfort access things that attach to the back seats, it's not out of line. The hook would be $5 on Amazon. With a BMW premium, maybe $20? It's like $43 for a tiny piece of plastic? At least the pillow is Alcantara. BMW charges $800 for the alcantara headliner, and that doesn't even include the giant shade part (MY 2021) so there's very little alcantara for your $800.
