Mine still isn’t working.

- iPhone XR (software current), at&t, .43? maybe version in X5, all services active in car, no other known issues.

- I’ve reset via vol knob twice.
- I’ve deleted app and signed back in multiple times.
- called bmw connected 3 times now.

Last update was 1/09/19 (it’s never worked for me, this is a dealer date).

BMW told me there is a multi-day outage going on now.

I’ve been patient, goal was to spend this weekend and get it sorted, but now I’m getting irritated.

no...I don't believe you can unlock from the app, but if you call the roadside assistance from the app under 'hub' they can unlock the car for you in case you lost the keys and after they verify you as an owner.

My app stopped working so I called BMW Assist. They had me log in to the connecteddrive website and add a security question, which I had never set. Somehow that reactivated my account. Deleted the app, logged in again, and updated idrive->Apps per instructions above. That fixed things...

Car status never updated after ESA was done.

I have a 2020 M340i, the dealer did the ESA and I was able to sign up for BMW connected drive, everything seemed to work initially, I can see my car, I can see all services that are active, HOWEVER, the car status never updates, all commands sent to the car fail etc.

I have tried calling dealer, BMW assist, etc. They say it's "a weird issue with the App" where some cars experience sporadic issues, however, mine never worked.

Troubleshooting done so far (based on previous posts):
- Tried disabling / re-enabling remote services in the BMW connected drive website
- Tried disabling / re-enabling Mobile connection
- Tried hitting "Option" in the in car BMW connected app and then hit "Update", that succeeds.
- Updated "Security Question" in the BMW connected drive website
- Reset password
- Tried logging out and logging back in from the app
- Tried deleting the app and re-installing.
- Factory reset on iDrive
- Remove car from BMW Connected website and have dealer do ESA again

Anyone having the same issue? Maybe even a resolution?

I had troubles logging into the site all day yesterday. The app just updated, so you would think some kinks would be worked out. I tried locking my doors via the app last night...it said "Successful", but then I go into my status and says they're unlocked. TL;DR always lock your doors via the fob haha.

Mine updated 1 October. Interestingly, the "Info" section shows the correct mileage on the car (and presumably "Check Control" and "Service Required" info correct); the "Remote" section shows Status Updated 16 Nov, with obviously incorrect data, and none of the remote controls working. So I suppose we're halfway there. Or not.

I have a 2019 330i I've had issue with App for months, it's been at the dealership for 2 days and they can't figure it out it fails 8 out of 10 times it's really annoying. I had to beg them to look at it as they were trying to tell me that it's they way the app works it's bs there is no way in 2020 an app can fail that often

Same here and with other new 45e users. Doesn't seem to work. Bmw cancelled this service.

Guy what am I missing here? I am signed in to the Connected Services but I can't see the Remote Cockpit option there?! Is there something different in the French version?
