Any week 3 people out there?

Mine just entered production on Monday and has been in the production begins status. Not sure how long it should be in that status.

What status are you on in week 3?

I have a 40i with all options except BW, night vision and rear entertainment.

I am Week 3 which is supposed to start actual production the week of the 13th - 20th. As i noticed with others a VIN is assigned and it enters the production queue about 7 days prior and is locked out of anymore changes. If you call the automated line with you last 7 of the VIN, they can give you an *estimated completion date. Mine is scheduled for completion on 1/16 but nothing is set in stone.

did you guys order parking assist ZPK package? Mine got pushed to week 6 from week 3

I just called the automated line (1-800-831-1117) and my estimated completion date is 1/17. Thanks for the tip.

yes i have ZPK as well on my order with B&W and acoustic glass and the ZP2, ZPX, ZMP with ZDH.

I was Week 51 but am now Week 3. Mine in process with a estimated completion date of next Tues 1/15.

I was week 3 and now week 6! I no longer have a production number. My CA has no answers. If I don’t get answers from bmw, I am canceling my order. This isn’t acceptable when you’re ordering a $80,000 car!!!

I could not agree more. Mine is $99k (not trying to compare) so they make even less at this price point yet they can't support their flagship (until the X7 arrives on the lot) which is sad. I'm hoping my contacts give you a clear answer so you at least know. The more people who complain the higher chance we can see something change which is good

AndroidRobot, I'm surprised yours is still in the Production Begins state. Your build was probably before mines. I've been following the threads. My build just went into Assembly Line this morning and now it's at Quality Check. We both got pretty much the same build minus the exterior color, NV, Rear seat entertainment and 22's.

me too, I just checked and it's still at production begins I. e not physically on the line yet but there's usually a delay in their system. I ordered mine in November for the record

Mines was ordered December 14.

When they say estimated completion date do they mean ready to ship to dealer or at dealer?

it means production is complete and it will ship out to the dealer

ordered mid-late December and finally moved into production today.

Called the automated line which tried to transfer me to a representative 3x after correctly stating the last 7 of the VIN. As it's after 9pm, there is no one there.

Sooo guess I will find out my ETA completion tomorrow!

I am, I feel like the system hasn't updated in a few days or they're not moving as fast to get these produced. I'm sure we will see some updates on Monday even though I'm growing concerned.

I hope so, if a completion date of 1/17 is real I would think it would be further along.
