Pandora on carplay problems

hello guys
I thought i had pandora work for a few days but have not been able to get it to work. just says loading on the screen and no sound from the phone. I still dont have the hotspot so perhaps that's a factor. is it just me? For those who got it to work can you tell me how. Is there a workaround by not using carplay.seems to do the same thing on spotify but it say no internet.

I have to open it on my phone before I get in the car and it works flawlessly that way. It’s a bug in CarPlay. Not using CarPlay you have to go into media and then mobile device , music.
