Back Seat Cover recommendation?

Does anybody have a recommendation as to a brand of back seat cover?
99.9% of the time my back seat passengers are two dogs and I would like to protect the Merino from dirt, snow and toe-nails.
I tried a generic SUV/truck cover, but that didn’t fit well at all.
Thanks!

Throw them in the trunk. My dog is always in the trunk

This is what we use from Orvis. Highly recommend.

I use seat belts for my dogs, so they have to be on the back seat

Thank you. Just what I need and that protector has great reviews.

Did you order size large or extra large?

W have the version without the extensions to the front seats. I also removed the "handles" that are intended to tuck between the seat back and seat cushion as the space wasn't large enough for them. Works great and keeps the leather clean, scratch free and is easy to clean as well.

I believe BMW has its own rear seat cover solution. Weathertech sells one as well.

BMW has one that I use, part number 52302220492
works well enough and is nicely padded, although when comparing to other cheaper alternatives I don't see many advanteges.
We've had really cheap thin ones that tear on the dog nails immediately, stay away from those.
We've had one that covers the doors as well, that was great but a bit involved to open and close the doors.

I cannot recommend this enough. A really minor accident (or even emergency braking) can cause serious harm to a dog body if not secured by the seatbelts.

Smile

I have a 2019 X5 and use the Weathertech cover. I bought the smaller size first and it was too small. The larger size works OK. Looking at the Orvis, it seems to cover more of the seating area. The Weathertech does not have the canopy to the back of the front seats. Also the Weathertech is also not custom made for any particular car, similar to the Orvis cover.

Hope this helps.
