I just picked mine up today with the coffee vernasca and really like it, have no idea what the others feel like, never had them. The color seems a little darker than the other coffee leather.

I don't mind it personally and mine is essentially fully optioned. Yes, it may look better without the gathering but either way I love the car

No, I’m one of the few that just did the xLine, the MSport seemed a little aggressive for me, but after seeing all the pictures almost wish I had.
It’s artic grey, coffee vernasca, matt poplar trim. I didn’t order the leather dash but it came with one anyway, looked like a lot of work to remove it so I told the dealer not to worry about it |

Intentional?
I cannot believe people actually swallow that cr*p... Then you tell me why the 7-series, 5-series does not have wrinkled seats if they are supposedly intentionally for better comfort? how can you say not bad... the furthest part of the seat looks awful! looks like students (no disrepect to them!) made there first leather seat... |

Merino is definitely worth it. Merino is so much nicer than the Nappa as well. I only wish the steering wheel and other areas were covered in Merino instead of the Nappa. It'd be nice if everywhere your hands touched you had the softest and smoothest leather.

When I say that, I mean that literally towards the quality of the seats. Not towards the way the car drives. I can fully imagine it's a great car... I will most certainly experience/confirm that when I have my first testdrive. But, as you mention, when someone pays lots of money for something that is branded as "luxurious", the expectations are set high, so the expectations should be delivered. and of course, all is in the eye of the beholder... some will not mind... others will... I myself are a perfectionist (to a normal level) and I truly cannot accept that level of finish). And especially not when it is mentioned as 'Intentionally'. I would like to Adrian Van Hooydonks opinion on this. See if he could agree that this represents the Luxurious finish that BMW claims... No doubt in my mind that he would not agree... couple of weeks ago I was invite to a Tesla event... was curious and went... Came back with confirmations of what I heard... bad finish. The hood of the shown Model X had 0.5 cm more space at the front then in the back (in between the side panels). The windows rubbers were all having these little pieces coming off... Things like that are truly roadblocks for me. others probably don't care. |

I also noticed on my car that the wrinkles are now mostly on the outer halves of both seats; almost none on the inner halves (towards the central divider).

Wrinkling rear seats reminds me of the crap you might expect from GM or a Fiat. |
