1 Day M School (you won't go on the Thermal side in the CA location) is $1550
2 Day M School is 4K at Thermal (includes hotel), 2nd day on Thermal side mostly
Advanced M (a 2 day program) is $5k (includes hotel)

Yes, only 4 stops this year: Monticello, COTA, someplace near Chicago, and Thermal. Bill Auberlen returns for the full day program. Prices will likely be going up.

Thanks for info - great to get confirmation that it's happening again this year.

Given that Thermal is expected in October and my '17 COTA event was July with '18 Monticello in August, makes sense that they have a little more time than prior years to post if Chicago is late summer/early fall.

How did you find out?

So, I am doing the Advanced m School at Thermal in November. I called the hotel and they didn't have any idea what I was talking about (BMW Performance Center wasn't much help). I ended up booking the extra night online, but wonder how much I could be spending with the group rate.

I'm Diamond with Hilton so maybe I'll at least get a room upgrade. Lol

Was it Merimonte at Indian Wells? If so, the "group rate" I got was $199 and they waived the resort fee (so $199 was actually $199, plus tax I guess).

Just signed up too. I actually posted about this before but I never signed up because it was at the dealer. But thinking about it now, why not? I guess all the slots are filled and I'm on a waitlist but the dealership is walking distance so I'll just show up early Saturday and hope for the best. I mean, unless you were truly a potential buyer, how else would you get to test drive an M2 CS? Will still be a little fun.

I signed up in my area as well.

I hope it's run by a BMW PR firm and not dealership employees.

Basically, I would rather a BMW PR person give me their speal and not a dealership salesman try to sell me the car.

i’m guessing its BMWNA marketing crew that does most of the other events as well. dealership likely doesn’t want to put their own cars into service nor take up their staff’s time.

i’ll be choosing between an M240 or M2 as my next car. everything i’m reading says the M240 is the better choice for a DD. i want some M2 seat time along the highway stretch that I regularly commute — and the dealership is right off that highway exit.

Totally. I would much rather geek out with a PR guy while driving than listen to a sales guy. Really looking forward to it now. Turns out the other dealership close to me has every slot still available because they are doing it on a Monday. I went ahead and signed up there as well.
