Just registered for monticello. 1/2 day as I think that is the better value. Also, a great opportunity to drive an incredible track that is usually members only.

Yup, a lot of people that went last year aren't going again. I'm still debating but probably won't attend. Rather spend 100 more and take my own car on track.

Ya, I missed last year, and have been kicking myself all year...
I'm one of the Bozos that's been refreshing that link every morning since April so I wouldn't miss it again...

Once I saw the price, I kinda closed my eyes, and clicked "register" before I had a chance to think about it.

Perhaps every other year ... unless it goes up again

If this is your first year, you're going to love it. I've been twice before so price isn't worth it for me. Looks like this year the lead and follow laps are done in an M4 and M5 while last 2 were in M3 and M4.

This is my first post. I have been watching this thread for months awaiting for track days to open. I signed up for Monticello immediately.

I signed up last year but there was an issue with my registration. I was traveling in china and BMW was trying to get a hold of me and cancelled my registration while I was gone. By the time I realized it was sold out. I was not letting that happen this year.

I was waiting for this for quite some time; however, I'm sorely disappointed. I'm sure the tracks selected are phenomenal but it's a shame there isn't better or more coverage for the country. I'll likely sit this one out.

Already got the email from BMW stating registration was live so expect an even bigger spike in registrations. I think there's been a lag of a week or so in the past.

For $495 I could do a half day HPDE in my own car with a lot more track time including gas and a portion of the tire wear, though.

Got an email to sign up, but the description isn't super enticing / clear. How much actual track time do you get, and is the full day a worthwhile upgrade?

IMHO they were worth it when it was $250 for half a day. Now that they have doubled the price, I dont see a value in it.

You do get some decent seat time in nice cars. Track time is not the major part- you probably do 3-4 laps of the track. rest is autocross or drag race.
